Toyota tazz: I took my car for engine overall three weeks ago, after it came back it started to overheat lacking power and I hear strange noise somewhere. In the crank, so after that I checked it my self I found that the top casket was burnt and the rings were having a play, I changed my rings and casket. But it lacks power and the noise is still there
Please help.

Have this checked locally because you are not descriptive enough on the noise. If it's at top it may be worn camshaft/followers. If a deeper knock may be rod or main bearings. Plus we can' hear it to give a decent diagnosis

The noise come from the bottom and other one from the tappets and yesterday I reseted the timing and it improved on power, but noise is still there. Then I took to the mechanic for a second opinion, I was told it has a bearing nock.

If it's a noise from the bottom the mechanic is probably correct your engine is down on power because of that and won't last long before it either blows a rod or siezes
