Toyota Corolla Sensor Problem

My engine light came on. Diagnostics say that that it is the 'Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)' (DTC Code P0133). Could you please let me know how serious of an issue this is (as in do I need to get it fixed immediately) and approximate cost of the part and repair. Thank you!

Whenever any trouble codes are detected, the engine computer would try to bypass the sensor concerned. O2 sensor fault would allow you to drive with minimal problem but fuel consumption is going to increase. Any fault present should be rectified asap.

Depending on what needs to be done and your location, cost varies so you need to check locally for the correct price.
