My 'maintenance required' light has come on and I want to know what type of maintenance is likely needed and about how much this should cost.

The car is running just fine right now; I've never had any trouble with it since buying it @ 2006 at 50K miles. I just need to have info so I know if the local mechanic is giving me the correct info and charging me a reasonable price.
