Hi I've got an 04 leon tdi 150 . Just fitted a new turbo to it as it had gone when purchased the car. but it has faults on my vag scanner & solus sa

Hi I've got an 04 leon tdi 150 . Just fitted a new turbo to it as it had gone when purchased the car. but it has faults on my vag scanner & solus saying p1542 fuel pump relay short to ground j17 and p1442 egr valve short to ground . Certain relays are getting hot . Can any one shed any light on this for me and where the fault is most likely to be . Thanks

Check the loom for any signs of rubbing that may case wires to bare and earth, also check that the relay is serviceable it may be faulty.
