Saturn Vue Rebuild Problem
A transmission question.
I know the trans in the 2003 Vue is a nightmare. Mine just started acting up. It goes in reverse and forward in low gear, but struggles in drive, so apparantly it needs work. My question is regarding what I've said, is it repairable or too far gone. The cost of replacing is between 1800-2500 just the trans. Is there a rebuild kit available?

You have the 4cyl engine i take it?If so to rebuild it you would replace the side cover a rebuilt one also replace the internal filter but before that you would have to have it pressure tested properly to make sure there isnt a pump or valve body that will take out the new side cover.Do you have any codes?I have rebuilt so many of these i lost count.
