Radio Installation and Electrical Problems

Back in 2010 the factory radio went out in my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire so I replaced it with a standard car radio, but as time went on I began experiencing different kinds of electrical problems until one day I decided to remove just to see if that was the issue and it was. Now I would like to know do you know of a particular brand radio system that would not interfere with the wiring or is it best that I not try to install any radios myself, and to let the professionals deal with it. Secondly my brake lights, hazard lights, nor blinkers are working are there any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

Have the turn signal/multifunction switch checked/tested-all the circuits being affected has to go thru the turn signal/multfunction before it gets to the lights
