2004 Pontiac Bonneville Repair Question

My 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SE has heating problems. I replaced the blower motor and now when I turn it on it blows the fuse immediately under the back seat. What is wrong?

The blower motor burned out while my ex was driving it. There was a snake somehow that had crawled in and died inside of it. LOL She said that she replaced the blower motor but since the replacement it won't work and blows the fuse. Is there an apparent wire burned or is it a resistor that needs to be replaced? If so, where is the resistor? or where can I find a diagram to help me replace the wires?

Do you have a test light?
