Can the ignition lockout portion of the security system be disabled?
Occassionally, and for no apparent reason the security system will lockout the ignition preventing the car from starting. You sometimes have to wait up to 1-1/2 hours for the dash light to go out so you can start the car. Any information will be helpful.

It can't be bypassed. If you let the key in the run position, the light should go out in around 10 minutes and it should start.
