I was told, radiator in my car has a leak, and needs to be flushed. have casuing transmission damages and that needs to be flushed
He is saying that there may be so much damages that I may need to replace the trans. @ 4000.00 plus the radiotor repairs. does this correct?

what kind of leak? why did you take it to mechanic?

if transmission fluid mixed with coolant and coolant got itno transmission flushing may fix it or it may have damaged it so that it needs disassembly cleaning or replacement.
