Loud screeching sound from steering system when turning. Have had to cover about 500 miles and it doesn't seem to have got any worse.
Does seem to ease off when warm. Most of the mileage was on motorways therefore not much turning involved. Fluid level OK but slightly "bubbly".

This is most likely a belt problem. When you turn you put extra strain on the belt and if it is worn it can cause it to slip and cause this screeching noise.
