2004 Isuzu Ascender 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 31,000 miles. My speedometer is not working properly, mostly the problem occurs when braking. The speedometer does not register that the car is slowing down, also all the gauges in the vehicle generally release, and go to zero when the engine is turned off however the speedometer stays where it was last registered. WHY? Also the problem was noticed after an aftermarket remote start was installed on the vehicle.
