Infiniti I35

I have a 2004 Infiniti I35 that I recently had the alternator replaced on, and works great however since that repair it now leaks oil near where the work was done. Is it possible that the mechanic could have bumped something?
It has never leaked oil before

Replacing the alternator does ot involve any component that would leak oil.

If the oil is red or clear, it could be a power steering hose that is leaking.

If it is engine oil, the likely source would be the crank pulley seal.
Without a visual inspection, it would not be possible to determine if the alternator replacement had anything to do with it.
