I am in the process of removing & replacing the thermostat on the Elantra. No problems removing, bu am having a problem re-installing.

How do you keep the thermostat centered on the gasket? Gasket sealer?

I got it back in but had to have misaligned it & when the bolts were tightened back down & refilling the coolant, it drips out of the housing. I R&R it again & tried with no luck to try it again. Now have to replace the gasket & try again.

Secret in keeping it centered?
