I have a 2004 Honda Pilot with 93,000 miles. I've noticed that after the car has warmed up I get a sounds like a gust of wind that blows on and off under my car. It has gotten louder. I've heard this sound for several months. The car also seems to be burning gas more than normal. What could be making this noise? I had a mechanic look under the car and didn't see anything.

Is it a howling sound?

If so, check your wheel bearings and driveshaft hanger bearing. It may also be a differential noise if you haven't been keeping up on your maintenance.
