My 2004 CR-V has 175,000 miles on it. With the exception of the AC, it's been a marvelously trouble-fee car. However, lately at very slow speed I've notice a slight shaking or wobble in the front driver-side wheel it is most pronounced when accelerating in a right turn -- if it's a tight right turn it almost sounds like the tire is flapping (tires brand-new). Driving at speed it is not noticeable. What's up with this? Thanks

If everything is tight, chances are the wheel bearing is bad. Tell me, is there any howling noise? Does the noise get worse when you make turns (you mentioned right turns). What happens when you turn left? Also, has anyone checked steering, suspension. Components?

There is not any noise at all. Just the shaking sensation. Actually I'm not sure what happens on left turn

Okay, what needs done is the steering components (including the control arm bushings) need inspected and checked for excess play. Also, the CV joints need inspected. You said it sounds like a tire flapping. Could it sound like a clicking?
