What is likely cause of trans issue.
The car jerks/clunks when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear. This is a tip-tronic transmission.Have been told possible trans is slipping??What would be required to repair issue.

sounds right. it would have to be removed and examined for the failure. then you can get the estimate of repair.
