Electric question

2004 FORD F-150
89,000 MILES • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

It is getting cold and when I start the truck (04' F150 supercrew) in the morning, it is labored. The guages flutter, the computer resets and then everything comes to life. Are we talking simply battery (orig), or should I look deeper. Have done nothing yet.

Check battery and that the cables are making a clean and tight connection, sounds like a bad connection problem.

Sounds like first I'd have the battery checked somewheres as a weak battery normally is number 1 issue of this that you discribe..If the original battery Id replace anyway to be on safe side. If issues still present take a look at the terminals as mhpautos said
