CAR WAS CUTTING OFF HAD FUEL PUMP REPLACED 6 MONTHS AGO. CAR CUT OFF AGAIN YESTERDAY, REPAIR SHOP SAYS IT IS FUEL PUMP AGAIN. IS THAT NORMAL? WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE?

You can take wild guesses from now till doomsday. The fact is that unless you can have active testing going at the moment it dies and be able to determine whether it was fuel pressure, injector pulse or spark that dropped out first, you will never have any credibility to the diagnosis.
