2004 Ford Everest car wont Move

Engine is running at neutral position, hand brake is released, When gear is shifted to either 1st gear or reverse, the car wont move. It seemed something is holding it from moving. Additional info: the unit had been idle for a week with the hand brake on.

We dont' have that model in u.S. But check to see if handbrake cable is frozen and staying on then check fluid level if auto matic. If cable is frozen you'll have to try to getit soaked in oil an dunfreeze it or replace it. It cold also be a transmission problem as well.
