What is causing my AC to become noisy?
I have put 25K miles on a second AC system for my '04 Crown Vic and although it still seems to be working okay, it has just started to become noisy when it kicks in, like a noticeable "whine" which increases with RPM.

Looks like the compressor is running rough. There are A/C system lubricants avaleable that can be charged into the system to reduce such noises.
