Ford C-Max Brakes Problem

Hi couple of problems came to light around the same time.
1:Intermitant loss of power.-.Fitted new EGR & has made a difference but still sporadically feels underpowered though not as much as before.Stopping and restarting usually fixes this.
2: Radio sporadically comes on with the ignition turned off.
3: MAIN PROBLEM: After sitting for more than a couple of hours the brake peddle is very hard to depress resulting in very little braking. After a few minutes or 100 to 200 metres they start to work normally. I'm obviously very concerned that this could occur at any time.

Do you have any suggestions as to the cause (mainly of the brake problem) and steps to remidy this...Regards Stuart
