A couple days ago my car radio and inside lights stop working completely. The exterior lights work only when the car is started and the dashboard lights will come on. I am afraid of losing all power in my car. What could the problem be? The air also doesn't blow cold and I can't turn it nor the heater off. Air is continuously coming out the vents. This has been going on for a while. Could there be a connection?

Air should go through your vents all the time even with blower off but I f blower is on have a pro scan for codes as well as your other problems it may be a module problem like a body module as radio goes through that. These all may be related to a body module problem but you won't know until it is scanned.

Another mechanic informed me that it was probably just a fuse but that I would still have to get an electrical check. Would a blown fuse cause my car to lose power completely which I was I am most concerned about.

Normally I would have said for losing power to scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge but I fyou are going to get it scanned anyhow it will show up at least engine codes would. Fuel pressure if you aren't mechanically inclined is best left to pros.
