2004 Chrysler Sebring Starter burns/dies

The starter will work 1 time then turn the car off it won't start agian and the starter is dead/burned?


The car insides still light up when key it on all lights radio. Still work

Does the car start again after its cold? If so, then the starter needs to be replaced. Once it gets hot, it builds too much resistance and draws too many amps.

Yes I've already bought a new starter two times same thing happens burns the starter.

Bought new 2 times

Only starts one time doesn't matter hot/cold

Ok. That's not what I expected. Without any tools or knowledge I cant tell you where to go from here, except to a good shop. It could be an engine ground problem or an ignition problem, or other weird things in between. Electrical is very hard to diagnose especially over the internet. Just don't buy any more starters. That's not the problem
