Why car sometimes won't start
2004 concorde. won't turn over. I wait a while and it starts. Sometimes it starts if I hit the dash
This is been going on for almost a year. It seems to be getting worse lately though. Seems like it would be a short.

If it doesn't crank over at all/nothing when you turn key over-Have the ignition switch and wiring to it checked and tested-

That is what I thought. I wasn't sure if they could just check it. It won't crank , but if I wait a little it will, or if I hit it. Thanks!
