The engine idle is very low when sitting still and runs rough. It surges fast at times when traveling at low speeds. The engine runs smooth when traveling at faster speeds and on the highway. Mileage sucks in the city but is pretty good on the road.

Long gone. Not there for years. How are the basics like the plugs, coils and filters?

The plugs and wire kit were recently changed and the car ran well afterward. The engine idle is rough and drops to almost stalling when sitting at a light. It runs fine at a steady speed.

Clean the throttle body of all black carbon. There is an idle re learn but has to be done with a scan tool.

Cleaned the throttle body and there was improvement but still has a bit of a rough idle and tends to surge driving at about 20mph. Replacing the air filter next. It is dirty but not clogged. Thanks for your suggestions thus far.
