Chevrolet Silverado Noise Problem

During the summer, I have trouble with the A/C turning to hot on the driver's side while the passenger side stays cold. I also hear a lot of clicking and noise coming from just above the accelerator pedal. The noise is especially loud during cold weather when I'm using the defrost setting.

check the door motor. it sounds like it has failed. that controls the heat and cool operation at the drivers side
