Turn signal flasher unit
How do I get to the turn signal flasher unit on my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Classic?

You don't have a conventional flasher. The bcm controls turn signals. The turn signal switch sends signal to bcm. Bcm sends on/off voltage to turn signals. Check for applicable trouble codes. In the diagram for the front, the brown wire is voltage for the front park lamps. The purple wire is voltage for turn lamp. Black wire is ground.
