choke STICKS

2004 Impala with 41,000 miles. The automatic choke sticks when engine is cold. Extra pressure is required on the accelerator. After engine is slightly heated the accelerator does not stick. I have lightly sprayed with silicone around exterior of choke. I have sprayed silicone around choke exterior.
