Idle Chevy Cavalier

My 2004 Cavalier Has been sitting for about a year. I want to know the neccessary prcautions and steps to maybe flush the system fluids and whatever else has probably went bad after a year in chicago weather.

i would disconnect plug wires and crank over for 30 seconds a couple minutes a part to get oil up into engine before recconecting wires and starting. then maybe get an oil change drive and check trans fluid and get flushed if necessary if it's not clear and red. before next winter you could get an anti freeze flush.
