When I let of the brakes of my 2004 Chevy Astro I can feel a tug on the rear brakes. The pads and rotors are new. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Have you pulled the rotors to inspect the parking brake for problems?
Is the front exhibiting any symptoms like that?

Yes, the rotors were pulled (and replaced). The emergency brakes looked fine. The rotor went on smoothly and could turn freely when I did the brake job. The front does not seem to exhibit the same problem. It is almost like there is a slight delay when the rear calipers are supposed to release pressure.

A bad flex hose in the rear will do that.

There should also be a third one going to the differential junction block.

How do you check them? Should they all be changed at once?

That would be the safe way. If it's happening to both rear wheels, the center one has to be to blame but I would expect the other 2 to have issues also.
