2003 Volvo S60 Repair Question

2003 S60 2.4T Volvo, Shudders when accelerating. Smooth when coasting. Started before new tires. Continued now that I have new tires. JUST rotated and balanced tires and shudder continues. It does not disturb the steering wheel rather, it seems to be c

If you're feeling it in the steering wheel only under load, that is typically caused by worn spots in one of the inner cv joint housings. Most people just replace the entire half shaft because it's less expensive than a new housing from the dealer.
