Hi my vectra makes a clunk noise when setting off or when going over bumps, also while stationary with the wheels in lock then moving the steering wheel slightly left to right, quite a loud cracking noise can be heard and felt through the body of the car on the nearside, the vibration or cracking noise can felt through the wheel, and other linkages.
I have replaced the steering rack incl trackrod ends, the wish bones, and just recently the anti roll link rods/dumbell rods, I can't find anything loose, could it be a cracked spring.
Can you please advise.
