2003 Toyota Sequoia Repair Question

My car ran out off gas and my battery died. I put gas in my car and bought a new battery. Now my car turns of while I'm driving and shakes when its on and my check engine light is on. I have a 2003 Toyota Sequoia.

No problems before this happened. Also my control panel light does not work.
