2003 Saturn Vue Repair Question

Would like your expert advice to confirm
4cyl smokes white/rough idle on start hold 1500rpm smoke/idle clears runs normal -loses coolant but no leaks, pressure tests ok, builds pressure above 17psi when running, no check engine light

i would say yes to exaust but no to engine end

Might want to get a block test kit @ the auto parts store. Sounds like you might have a leaking cylinder head gasket. The block test kit will check for hc gas in the cooling system. Let me know how it works out.
