2003 sturnL200 wont change gears stays on park

Is your brake lights working if so check the shiftlock control solenoid?

Just to add to this one most of the L model saturns i have seen not come out of park had a blown parking light fuse or a bad body control module.The first thing i would do is check the parking light fuse in the under hood fuse box to see if it was blown.Also is there anything else inop like power door locks keyless entry fuel gauge temp gauge inside lights?Anything strange happening?Does it start?
