There is a condition that occurs on my '03 9-3 sports sedan. It goes like this, My cruise control light goes out and I loose my cruise control. This usually happens in driving either on surface streets or on the freeway after a few miles (usually anywhere from 2-10 miles). Also in loosing my cruise control, I also loose my turbo boost in 1st and second gear. All I have to do re get my boost back (1st and 2nd gear) is to turn the key off for a moment and turn it back on, let the clutch out and the momentum of the car will restart the engine. With the, the cruise light will come back on and I get my turbo boost back for my first and second gear. I really wonder who wrote the software for this car.I would love to ask them some questions as to why they set things up as they did. I have another gremlin. The trunk release (just above the license plate) does not work unless I first press on the unlock button first. I'm not sure how long it gives me to use the trunk release but in time, it ceases to operate until I first unlock the car by pressing the unlock button inside the car (in this case the unlock button on the drivers door). The trunk release on the drivers door and the release on the key fob work normal.

The only thing I can think of is to check the ground circuit on the engine module bolt see if it is loose. Otherwise thiis wouldp have to be physically looked at and check switches, etc. Out. As for the turnk release try another fob and make sure the battery is good in the one you use, itmay be that.
