I have a Renault Laguna V 6 ( 2003 ) model. When I press the start button, the engine turns but it won't start. It use to do that only every now and then and then eventually start, Now it won't start at allthough the engine turns and there is fuel pressure but no spark. The dashboard comes on as normal. also, once every 6 months or so a fuse blow and the dashboard goes dead but the car still use to drive. All I did then was to replace the fuse and things would be normal again. Renault did a diagnostic test but allthough the computer picks it up, it won't read it. I suspect the problem to be either a defective pick-up cencor or the ignition box ( computor ) situated underneath the battery.
