2003 Peugeot 307 Repair Question

Anti polutant fault and engine management lights on peugeot 307
I have a peugeot 307 1.4 hdi.the anti polution fault came out together with the engine management warning lights on my way to the petrol station when car suddenly stop.i've diesel petrol on it tried starting it again when it started after a few try and then it stop again...please help in giving advice on what to do next...many thanks

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
