2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette Shift Cable Came Loose

Transmission problem
2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The shift cable came loose at the arm on the transmission. The plastic insert clip that holds the cable end on the arm is broken. Can this part be obtained and replaced without replacing the whole cable? Where can I get the part?

Did you ever find out if you can just replace the end piece? I have a 99 silhouette and mine just popped off and won't stay on any more.

I am trying to replace the clip on a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette. I was looking for help or a diagram so I can see how thge clip is supposed to attach.

Yes. Go to Autozone or O'Reilly's. Show them what you need and they will show you where it is or bring it from the back. IF they're good. If not, they'll have to look it up. You could also find a replacement part at a junkyard.
