Hello, I have a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V 2.5l 6-speed manual transmission. My problem is that I have just changed the oil about 4 days ago and it ran great but I checked that my car oil light came on. When I did the oil change, I had put the correct amount it needs. I checked the oil rod to check the level and there was no oil marked on the rod. I noticed that there is an oil leak through the exhaust manifold and that there is also an oil leak coming through my air filter(not oil filter). What could be the reason? I did not have a check engine light on at all either.

Make sure that you don't have the old oil filter gasket stuck to the motor behind the new oil filter. Also make sure the filters tight. If you were spraying oil mist in the engine bay while driving the engine would've sucked some of that in, wetting the air filter. If not, then you could possibly have some engine damage pushing oil out through the crankcase.
