Hi there - very recently when the car is started in the mornings a high pitched whistling sound is coming from the engine. It lasts for about 10minutes and once the engine has warmed up completely disappears. Is at its loudest when the engine is idling. Had a look and the noise is coming from under neath the silver metal cover (my dad said thats where the belts are) does anyone have any ideas on what would be making that sound? Could it be the timing belt? Alternator? Or water pump??
