How do I take out the aerial motor from the back of my 2003 wagon, in from behind the back wheel or from the inside. Sounds like the motor still works but the rope has broken. Can I take the aerial itself out and feed another rope into the motor

For OEM motors, the aerial can be replaced simply by removing the nut at base of antenna and pulling on it but you if the cable is broken internally, you would have to remove the motor to extract it out of the motor before you can install a new one.

Removal should be from inside the vehicle.
