Was driving, come to a stop light and while sitting at a red light car dies and wont start. I get a tow home pull a camshaft position sensor code P0340 "I think it is off top of my head" I test for spark and there's no spark, replace the cam pos sensor car still no start, but now have spark. I pulled the bottom hose off the fuel pressure regulator and get gas when I turn the car over, all fuses are good, I still get a camshaft position sensor code still have spark, wiring appears to look good, I am clueless as where to go from here.
Do you
have the same problem?

P0340 is a fault with the cam position sensor and if you are stil getting the code after replacement of the sensor, that could mean a fault with the wiring.

No spark is caused by the crank sensor and I would suggest checing that. Btw check and ensure the timing belt is intact.

Ok, checked timing belt and it is intact, now would a faulty crank position sensor allow spark to one coil and not the other being only two coil one per two cylinders

Yes, it is possible if the crank pickup point has problems.
