I just broke my dipstick during checking the oil level. is it dangerous to run the car while the broken dipstick part still in tube?
I just broke my engine oil dipstick while trying to check my engine oil level and the most of the part (about 6") still left in the dipstick tube. Is it dangerous to run the car while broken part of the dipstick still in the tube?Does it can harm my engine?

if it falls in the pan and gets caught up in the crank, yes.
get it somewhere that can remove the broken piece for you.
