Snorkel hose came off it dry rotted it was also hissing
Order of events are: check engine light came on then it started shaking next it would cut of at stops, but crank right back up. Next it stop taking gas as I was driving but it stayed crunk. Only thing I saw the snorkel hose was rotted. Is that why my car is not driving

Yes, it would be. That has to have an air tight seal between the MAF and the throttle body or it won't measure the air properly.
