Engine Racketing any Suggestions?
I Have a 03 Mercury Grand Marquis Ls with the Single exhaust
I hear racketing when accelerating from speeds0-30Mph but as my Oil temp and engine warms up to normalIt will stop. I beleive it is the engine mounts need tightening or replacing . the car has 139000 miles

Check to make sure the converter is still attached inside. Use a rubber mallet and tap on the exhaust to see if there is anything lose.

I have done that and it seemed all atached
