2003 Mercedes Benz S500 Repair Question

2003 Mercedes e 500 BOTH key fobs quit working @ same time and wont even turn in ignition, so car wont start. Any ideas?
Pulled car into garage, everything fine, next morning, fob opened trunk, but can't get ignition to turn. Now fob won't unlock, lock or open trunk, but most devastating, won't turn/start.

Find out from the dealership if there is a replaceable battery in the keyfob.

It could also be the receiver in the vehicle.
