Can transmission pump with sticky valve be replaced or do i need new transmission?
"check transmission" warning displayed. dealer says transmission pump valve sticking. says it can't be fixed. says i need another transmission. do i?

I agree. If the pump is damaged for any reson, metal goes all through the trans and it needs a complete overhaul.
