Battery troubles

Can a 2003 kia optima lx 4 door sedan use a non kia optima battery? And if so which one !

Batteries are universal and non specific except for hybrid vehicles. The only difference would be the battery specifications and that is the only item you have to be correct with.

On the battery you would see markings denoting the battery capacity and specifications. For any replacement, quote the code and you shuld be able to get the correct one.
