My 2003 jeep grand cherokee laredo (automatic)will not change from 3rd gear to 4th.
My 2003 jeep grand cherokee laredo (automatic)will not change from 3rd gear to 4th. When Im trying to enter the interstate, as i reach speeds of 60mph, the check engine light will blink and car will start jerking. Also the jeep will turn off when stuck in 5mph traffic. I feel this is all related. HELP?!?

we need the codes.
from your description, you have engine missfires that may require plugs and coils.
the trans is a separate issue. you need a trans shop to help you
what started all this??
